Mark's practice focuses on the areas of corporate and business, real estate and municipal law. Mark has extensive experience in forming and advising business and professional entities, negotiating commercial transactions and the purchase and sale of medical and dental practices. He also represents owners and developers in real estate acquisition, planning and development, construction contracting, homeowner association formation and operation and environmental matters.

Since 1991, Mark has been general counsel to the Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma and since its incorporation in 2004, the Peninsula Metropolitan Park District (PenMet Parks). In that capacity, he provides advice relating to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Northwest Trek, and numerous other public facilities, parks and recreation programs. He also provides advice on public works contracting on multimillion dollar projects.

A Gig Harbor resident since his youth, Mark has been practicing in the Puget Sound area for more than 25 years. Mark is a graduate of Bellarmine Prep, Gonzaga University, and the Seattle University School of Law. Prior to beginning his private practice in Gig Harbor, Mark was a law clerk to the Honorable Edward P. Reed at the Division II Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Washington State Bar and the Pierce County Bar Association, and admitted to practice in all Washington State courts as well as the federal courts in Western and Eastern Districts of Washington.

A member of the Gig Harbor morning Rotary since 1996 and he and his wife Joan have two children.
